What is your role at Champion Fiberglass®?
I serve as purchasing specialist.
Tell us about your background.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I joined the military after graduating high school and was stationed in San Diego. When I first joined the Navy, I served as an Undesignated Seaman then became a Logistics Specialist/Ship’s Serviceman. I then went on to attend Los Angeles Mission College for Business Administration.
I have about five years of purchasing and accounting experience in various industries including lighting, engineering and biopharmaceuticals. I recently moved to Houston for a change of scenery, which is what led me to Champion Fiberglass.
What attracted you to the role at Champion Fiberglass?
One of the big factors that attracted me to this role is how historically the company has proven time and time again to be a market leader. Through all the global changes we’ve faced, Champion Fiberglass has shown consistency and longevity—both qualities in a company that support my professional goals.
How do you spend your time when not working?
When not working, I spend most of my time shopping (especially at thrift stores), with my loved ones and eating at new restaurants. I’m hoping to participate in more outdoor activities, but as a city girl that is a work in progress.
Tell us something people might not know about you.
People might not know I am a professional bodybuilder. Just kidding.
What are you most excited about for 2022, personally and/or professionally?
For 2022, I am most excited to be a part of the Champion Fiberglass family. I look forward to expanding my knowledge of the conduit industry and adding value to an already amazing team.
