I began my role as Purchasing Manager at Champion FiberglassⓇ on March 30, 2026. In this position, I am responsible for sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, controlling costs, and ensuring materials are available to support production and operations. I work closely with warehouse, operations, and finance teams to maintain proper inventory levels, improve vendor performance, and prevent supply disruptions. My focus is on securing quality materials at competitive pricing while improving efficiency and supporting the company’s overall operational goals.
Tell us about your background.
I bring a disciplined and results-driven background shaped by my experience as a U.S. Marine and my academic pursuits, including a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and my current MBA studies. I began building my supply chain management experience in 2015, focusing on procurement and logistics, where I developed skills in vendor management, cost control, inventory planning, and operational coordination. At Champion Fiberglass, I am blending my military leadership and business expertise, leveraging over a decade of supply chain experience to support efficient procurement strategies, strengthen supplier relationships, and ensure reliable material availability for operations.
What attracted you to the role at Champion Fiberglass?
What initially attracted me to Champion Fiberglass was curiosity about the company and the products it manufactures. As I learned more during the interview process, I became increasingly interested in the organization’s operations and long-term vision. Ultimately, the deciding factor was the strong sense of togetherness and camaraderie that I experienced in the Marine Corps and leadership demonstrated by upper management. The team-oriented culture and clear leadership support reinforced my decision, as it aligned with my values of collaboration, accountability, and mission-focused execution.
How do you spend your time when not working?
My newborn son was just welcomed into the world so spending time with him is a priority for me. I also enjoy lifting weights, going to the shooting range, and watching all sorts of sporting events.
Tell us something people might not know about you.
I volunteer a lot of my time supporting events that help veterans and their families.
