When he’s not helping customers find solutions with Champion Strut™ and Bridge Drain™, he’s raising Texas Longhorns in North Carolina. Meet Product Manager Matt Vaught.
Tell us about your role at Champion FiberglassⓇ.
I serve as Product Manager for Champion Strut and Bridge Drain lines. I work with our product reps and distributors to bring awareness of our products and their benefits to engineering firms and contractors throughout North America. I also work with our own team of engineers to develop and perfect additional products for Champion Bridge Drain and Strut.
Tell us about your background.
I have a very diverse background but working in the general contracting and bridge utility business is what ultimately brought me to Champion Fiberglass.
What attracted you to the role at Champion Fiberglass?
I was drawn to the opportunity to advance my career with a company manufacturing top products that is driven by success and genuinely cares about its employees. I am proud to be employed by a company that still understands family values.
How do you spend your time when not working?
My wife and I own a ranch in Catawba, NC where we raise Texas Longhorns. Most of our free time is spent with our kids enjoying nature and the animals we raise.
What are you most excited about for 2024, personally or professionally?
In 2024, I’m most excited about the continued innovation and growth at Champion Fiberglass that address key industry challenges. I’m also looking forward to developing strong relationships within the engineering and contractor community.
