Tell us about your role at Champion FiberglassⓇ. When did you start?
I joined Champion Fiberglass in April 2025 as an Inside Sales Representative, where I’m the primary contact for electrical distributors, contractors, and engineers. I’m responsible for managing quotes and purchase orders with accuracy, addressing questions on product availability, pricing, technical specs and shipping, and supporting sales on key accounts and customer requests.
Tell us about your background.
Prior to Champion Fiberglass, I was at CenterPoint Energy for eight years as a Senior Service Consultant, developing deep expertise in electrical utility systems, streetlighting infrastructure, and underground distribution networks. I was the intersection of engineering coordination, field operations, and customer service, and oversaw the design, installation, and coordination of streetlight systems for public and private projects, including LED retrofits and pole relocations. Previously, I’ve worked in oil and gas, financial services, and communications.
What attracted you to the role at Champion Fiberglass?
I was drawn to the company’s commitment to engineering excellence and customized solutions for complex projects. I was excited to join a leader in product performance that also prioritizes customer service, technical support, and collaboration across teams.
I saw Champion Fiberglass as the place to utilize my background, grow in a technical sales role, and help contractors, engineers, and distributors find the best solutions.
How do you spend your time when not working?
I value family time the most. Outside of that, I have a great passion for hunting. My father introduced me to the sport when I was six years old, and it’s been a real blessing to share that experience with him across Texas.
Tell us something people might not know about you.
I restored a 1978 Chevrolet Malibu with my father, entered an 1/8-mile bracket race, and spent a lot of time at the track. I also learned guitar at a young age, thanks to my grandfather, who was a professional musician and a talented steel guitar player.
What are you most excited about for 2025 personally and professionally?
My faith is a cornerstone of who I am, so personally I’m committed to growing spiritually and being the best version of myself.
Professionally, I’m excited to deepen my understanding of the business and grow my skill set at Champion Fiberglass. I hope to build a meaningful and long-term career here.
